As a busy mum of 3 young children aged 6 and under (as well as a Labrador and cat); I was looking for a way to find "me" again. Couple this with being chair of a local Teenage Cancer Trust committee, co-founder on a local book club and an avid pub quiz fan - you could say life is hectic!
I have always LOVED to travel - my friends joke that I am always away. So when this opportunity presented itself to start my ow business - I just had to go for it! It made sense to pursue what I was passionate about and turn it into a business. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner.
I have a soft spot for Italy, but have visited many European cities. I also love a cruise - I have been cruising for the last 20 years. I have also been known to visit Disney once or twice!
I cannot wait to continue exploring more of the many wonders of the world with my family - but also inspiring and mentoring others so they can do the same.
WANT TO QUIT THE 9-5?
Back in February 2024 - I took a leap of faith and started my own travel business. It was something I had always wanted to do - but had never felt it was the right time or opportunity.
To begin with, I ran the business alongside my full- time job in HR. But once I began earning more additional income for myself, and began to see the benefits of time and location freedom. I knew I needed to work towards this business being my main role.
Fast forward to December 2024, I had left my main role and put all my focus on this business.
This incredible opportunity has allowed me to have freedom. I do not have to worry about asking for time off for special times with my kids. I no longer have a set amount of annual leave. And I have joined a community of other likeminded individuals who support each other to succeed.
